Warren Buffett’s successful investment

Warren Buffett, born in 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska, is a renowned investor and the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, a conglomerate known for investing in and sometimes acquiring undervalued companies.

Buffett began his career as a stockbroker and was influenced early on by Benjamin Graham, a pioneering investment manager who introduced him to the principles of value investing—a strategy focused on identifying stocks trading below their intrinsic value.

Warren Buffett is widely regarded as one of history's most accomplished investors. Over nearly 70 years of public investing, he has meticulously documented his insights and strategies through annual shareholder letters. His extensive experience and track record command global attention whenever he makes an investment decision.

Warren Buffett’s company: Berkshire Hathaway

Berkshire Hathaway, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, is an American holding company helmed by billionaire investor Warren Buffett. It operates within the financials sector and reinsurance industry, overseeing a diverse portfolio of companies spanning insurance, utilities, energy, transportation, manufacturing, and retail. Additionally, Berkshire holds substantial stakes in major corporations like Apple (AAPL), Bank of America (BAC), and Coca-Cola (KO).

Famous as a strategic investment vehicle for Buffett and his late partner Charles Munger, who passed away in November 2023, Berkshire Hathaway is also renowned for having the highest-priced stock in the United States—its Class A shares exceeded $500,000 each in 2023.

What shares Warren Buffett are buying?

Based on the most recent 13F filings, Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.A)(NYSE: BRK.B) has bolstered its investment in only two companies. One of these is the insurance firm Chubb Ltd. The second is a major player in the energy sector, a company that Buffett has shown considerable admiration for due to its management practices. Buffett's deep interest in the company was evident after he thoroughly reviewed its annual report, stating to CNBC, “I read every word, and...this is precisely aligned with my approach.”

Buffett has consistently emphasized the importance of strong management teams, but he underscores that they must be coupled with fundamentally sound businesses. His famous quote highlights this principle: "When a management with a reputation for brilliance meets a business with a reputation for poor economics, it is usually the reputation of the business that remains unchanged."
